EE Broadband 2017 Product Range

When it comes to home broadband, you’ll find that there’s no shortage of companies keen to sell you a package to flood your home with WiFi. From the bigger players like BT and Sky to smaller outfits like TalkTalk and Plusnet, dozens of companies are ready to sell your broadband.

However, there’s one company that’s been flying under the radar for some time now, offering excellent broadband deals with superb incentives for customers already with the company. We speak, of course, about EE.

Launched in 2010 following the merger of the UK’s biggest mobile networks, Orange and T-Mobile, EE is the biggest mobile network in the UK with over 32 million customers across their business. Today, they’re under the stewardship of BT after a £12.5 billion buyout of the company, though that hasn’t changed the way they operate.

With the largest selection of smart devices on any network, the best coverage of any network and extremely competitive pricing. However, if you’re looking to sign up for their home broadband, you need to know what their 2017 product range is. In this guide, we’ll share it with you and save you from the EE broadband contact telephone number.

EE Broadband

EE’s broadband might not make the headlines, but it presents an excellent option for those looking for a low cost broadband solution for their property. Their two 2017 broadband plans are:

Broadband – This basic broadband deal has download speeds up to 17Mbps and boasts a completely uncapped data allowance. It’s an excellent incentive for customers, who needn’t worry about paying extra for streaming too much during the month. Also included are weekend landline calls and 5GB of extra mobile data if you’re a current or new EE mobile customer. Total monthly cost: £19.50pm for 18 months w/ £7 mandatory delivery fee.

Fibre Broadband – The Fibre Broadband increases the maximum download speed to 38Mbps, but otherwise keeps the features the same as the standard broadband deal. That means you’ll be getting unlimited broadband, inclusive weekend landline calls and 5GB of extra mobile data if you’re an EE mobile customer. Total monthly cost: £28.50pm for 18 months w/ a £32 router delivery + fibre connection fee (currently reduced to £7)

Which of these deals suits you best will depend on your requirements. The basic Broadband package that EE offer is fine for houses with minimal demands from their broadband, or live alone. Multiple users attempting to browse, stream, download and game at the same time will find that their internet slows to a crawl.

If the latter use case sounds like you, then we would recommend Fibre Broadband. 38Mbps, whilst far from class leading, is more than enough for most users and should provide you with a fast and stable browsing experience.

As an added benefit for customers who take EE broadband, EE have made EE TV available as an inexpensive add on.

EE TV takes Freeview and juices it up with access to over a dozen catch up and on demand services, from the likes of YouTube, Wuaki, Now TV, the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Channel 5 and many, many more.

Indeed, the EE TV box even lets you pause, rewind and fast forward live TV just like more expensive Sky and Virgin boxes. Indeed, much like Sky Q, you can also take your TV on the go with you, thanks to the EE TV app for smartphones and tablets.

Adding EE TV to your package increases the cost of the basic package to £28.50pm and the Fibre Broadband package to £33.50pm.

EE Mobile

EE cut their teeth and made their name selling mobile contracts to the masses, so it’s no surprise to see them continuing that tradition into 2017. However, because of fluctuating prices and the constant inclusion of new smartphones in their line-up, it’s not possible to include here a full list of their devices and prices.

However, by going to the EE home page, you’ll find that EE are more than willing to share with you their latest smartphones and contract deals. There, you’ll find the likes of the iPhone 7 & 7 Plus, Google Pixel & Pixel XL, Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge and many, many more amazing phones on competitive deals.
